Thank you very much! So where DID you apply? OH and I am a GFA (general fine arts) major and I love it here. The teachers are superb and the school is great. I am getting a bit disenchanted with some of the other students but thats mostly just developing differences in artistic philosophy.

I applied to RISD, Pratt Institute, Art Institute of Boston, School of Visual Arts, and University of Hartford. I plan on being a graphic design major; I didn't apply to MICA's graphic design program because it seemed too computerized and digital, and I prefer working by hand. Its sad to me that graphic design is becoming more reliant on the computer.

I'm glad you love MICA, though. Everything else about it in my research seemed really great.

Well you applied to some great schools! Good luck, not that you need it. Yeah and MICA has a great design major and does focus a lot on traditional methods but yeah, a lot of the design/illustration programs are moving towards a lot more computerized methods.
